USA announces funding for Alzheimer's

3 January 2012 - On 23 December, the Alzheimer's Association in the USA received news that their advocacy efforts had paid off, with funding being secured by the country's government for Alzheimer's research and programmes to support people with dementia and their carers through the National Alzheimer's Project Act (NAPA). New Asia Pacific meeting dates announced

7 November 2011 - It has now been confirmed that the 14th Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting of ADI, due to take place from 8 to 11 November, will now be held from 11 - 13 January 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand. [read more]

17 October 2011 - The current state of dementia care, treatment and support in the Spanish-speaking world and Asia-Pacific region, will be under discussion at two forthcoming meetings taking place in October and November. [read more]
