'Time for action' in Asia-Pacific region

5 January 2012 - The current state of dementia care, treatment and support in the Asia-Pacific region, will be under discussion at a forthcoming conference, taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, next week.

From 10 to 13 January, individuals and groups from across the region will gather for the 14th Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting of ADI. The conference, which will run alongside the Bangkok Dementia Conference 2011, will feature speakers from the region and be attended by delegates from a range of countries including Australia, China and India. The conference theme is 'Dementia: It's time for action', with a programme containing topics such as diagnosis and early detection, community care and non-pharmacological management.
