ADI invites you to their side event at the 72nd World Health Assembly

1 May 2019 - Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) is delighted to invite you to a side event at the 72nd World Health Assembly, moderated by Chief Executive Paola Barbarino.

The 72nd World Health Assembly in May marks the second anniversary of the adoption of the Global action plan on the public health response to dementia 2017-2025. We are delighted to invite you to attend a special side event: Why we all need to do more: Examining the seven action areas of the Global action plan on dementia. The event will coincide with the launch of our report From Plan to Impact, which will provide an update on progress towards the targets of the Global Plan.

This year's event will feature an expert panel including Dévora Kestel, Director, Mental Health and Substance Abuse, WHO; Kate Swaffer, Chair, CEO and Co-founder of Dementia Alliance International (DAI); government representatives and sector specialists. Final line up to be confirmed.
