34th International Conference of Alzheimer's Disease International

Hope In The Age Of Dementia

Important announcement

We have been monitoring the situation in Singapore in relation to the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) and can confirm today (7 February), that following Singapore Ministry of Health advice, we are postponing the ADI / ADA conference, scheduled from 19-21 March 2020. The Singapore Government has raised the Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) level to orange and they are advising against non-essential large events.

We know you will be as disappointed as we are, but we have remained in close contact with our event organiser, SingEx and are pleased to confirm that we have re-scheduled the conference for 10-12 December 2020. We are also pleased to affirm that we are automatically carrying forward all registrations, abstracts, speakers and exhibitors, to make the change of date as seamless as possible.

We recommend that you take the opportunity to re-schedule any flights and accommodation that you have secured.

We will be updating the conference website adi2020.org in the coming days, with further information and answers to questions you might have. Some initial questions and answers are available below.

We really appreciate your understanding and support at this time, and we know that you will all agree that the health and safety of our delegates and the wider ADI family is of utmost importance.
Our best,

Paola Barbarino, CEO, ADI  |  Jason Foo, CEO, ADA

Questions and answers

Registration.  What happens to my registration?

We are automatically transferring your registration to the new dates in December.  The conference will run for the same duration of 3-days and the programme will largely be the same as originally planned.

If you are unable to make the new dates, please do nominate an alternative delegate to represent you.  To update those details, you can contact the Events registration team on adi2020@singex.com

Travel & Accommodation

We advise that you contact your airline, hotel, accommodation provider or travel agent to re-schedule your trip at your earliest convenience.  It is likely that airlines and hotels will be receiving similar requests from people globally, but please do let them know the re-schedule circumstance is caused by the novel coronavirus.

If you have booked your accommodation through the ADI conference website, we are currently in discussion with the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA) to see how the hotel providers may be able to support us. We will contact you directly once we have further information.
