Mexico announces first national plan from Spanish-speaking world

19 November 2012 - Mexico's Minister of Health, Salomón Chertorivski Woldenberg, has announced the development of the country's action plan on dementia, which will mark the first from the Spanish-speaking world. On 12 November, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Health, Federacion Mexicana de Alzheimer and the National Institute of Geriatrics to form a working group to feed into the plan.
