Write a book

The idea: Norms from the UK has written two books on his experience with Alzheimer's disease and encourages others to do the same.

Hello, my name is Norman Mc Namara and I live in Torquay, Devon UK.

Three years ago at the age of 50 I was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I have since dedicated my life to raising awareness about this awful disease. I have appeared on both Television and Radio and also in Magazines. I have also written two books about my battle with Alzheimer’s SINCE being diagnosed.

Believe me, every little bit of awareness raising helps.

I have just received this from the “Fisher Alzheimer’s Research Centre” in America who spend millions every year on finding a cure for this awful disease and who have posted this review of my book Me and My Alzheimer’s to their website

Best wishes, Norrms and family xxxxxxxxxxx

Writing books

It's 16 years now since my diagnosis with dementia and I'm still here! I wrote two books about my journey - Who will I be when I die? (Christine Boden - beofre I got married to Paul) and Dancing with dementia (Christine Bryden - after getting married!). I'm still speaking out, telling people what it feels like and what they can do to help. But it is so good to share with others who really understand what this life in the slow lane of dementia is like. I look forward to hearing from you all!
