Write and make videos as therapy and to speak out

The idea: Kate encourages other people with dementia write and talk about dementia as therapy and -- if they want to share -- to speak out

Hello:

My name is Kate Swaffer. I was diagnosed at age 49 (now 53) with Semantic dementia, and live in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.

My ideas are to make videos, write a dementia blog and speak out as much as possible. My first video story can be found on YouTube. (Kate's video is below)

Everyone would benefit from producing the stories. Even if you don't want to share them, writing and talking about living with dementia is very therapeutic.

Thank you,

Kate
