Nasuh Mahruki
Nasuh is a professional mountain climber and outdoor sports enthusiast. He is one the founders and the leader of the strongest voluntary search and rescue team of Turkey - AKUT. He is very happy to be a part of this colourful and dedicated international team. For almost 18 years he has climbed the highest mountains in the world and worked as a volunteer after the worst disasters of our time, such as the earthquakes in Marmara, India and Greece. Nasuh sees his participation in the Ascent for Alzheimer's team as another chance to show his respect for those less lucky than himself. With the help of Lundbeck, the Turkish Alzheimer Society and Foundation's sponsor, Nasuh has already raised a large amount for the association. His aim is to work to increase this amount as much as possible through forthcoming events in Turkey before, during and after the Africa trip.
